Events and Celebrations

NANPA, or the North American Nature Photography Association started NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY DAY in 2009 to keep those shutters clicking on the beauty and wonder of nature. Sometimes you happen to be in the right spot at the right time and just have to whip out the phone and snap a pic.
For all of you lovers out there, today is SNEAK A KISS DAY. Even though kissing may already be a big part of the relationship, sneaking a smooch adds a little to it.

With 276 serrated teeth, each about 7 inches long, and a gaping mouth spanning 8 to 11 feet, these creatures weighed around 60 tons and had a bite force of 40,000 lbs. psi. If they want to have their own day, who are we to tell them no.
Don’t be a prude as we celebrate NATIONAL PRUNE DAY. This fiber filled fruit fights cancer, muscular degeneration and night blindness while being good for indigestion and vision. Full of antioxidants and vitamin A, add these little gems to your diet today.
