Kev’s Daily Take On 08/31/2022

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Events and Celebrations

INTERNATIONAL OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY is here to remember the victims, honor those who have beat it and erase some of the stigma that goes along with this insidious condition.  If you are taking medication that could lead to addiction, monitor the effects closely.  If you find yourself under the control of any drugs – seek help and get the support, you need.

DIEATOMACEOUS EARTH DAY celebrates the dirt that makes up “the lungs of the earth”.  This “dirt” is actually made up of tiny single celled organisms that provide us with ¾ of our new oxygen.  It is used in everyday products, filtration and so many other things.

NATIONAL EAT OUTSIDE DAY and NATIONAL TRAILMIX DAY go together like nuts and raisins.  Combine the great outdoors with some delicious food and snacks.  Put together your favorite trail mix and enjoy these last days of summer.

Enjoy the day and make it your own

LORD, what a beautiful day and thank you for these beautiful souls.  Please watch over them, protect them, bless them and let them know that they are loved. We would also pray for those who under the control of Fentanyl, that they might be able to get their lives back. In your name I pray Jesus, Amen.
