Kev’s Daily Take On 09/06/2022

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Events and Celebrations

NATIONAL READ A BOOK DAY encourages us to do just that.  Whether it’s a favorite to reread, or the current bestseller, or maybe that how-to manual you’ve been meaning to get to – enjoy a good book.

ANOTHER LOOK UNLIMITED DAY asks us to take stock of our “stuff” and see what needs to go, what can be repurposed and what needs to be organized.  It is easy to let our “stuff” get the best of us, but we have to show it who is in control.

FIGHT PROCRASTINATON DAY prods us to just git er done.  There are a million reasons not to do something or to keep putting it off…STOP procrastinating and get on with it.   It is an enemy we all face but can be defeated.

Our dessert of the day may not be for everyone, but I am on board.  COFFEE ICE CREAM DAY celebrates the java flavored treat that brings a unique taste.  I will definitely have to hunt some down.

Enjoy the day and make it your own

Dear Heavenly Father, we ask for our country to be united, for this disease to go away and for those we love to be cared for and protected.  I know those are big asks, but you are a big God.  In your name I pray, Jesus, Amen.
