I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands,
One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Our Furry Friends

MONKEY DAY is here to monkey around and maybe learn a little about these fascinating animals.  From the tiny squirrel monkeys to the huge gorillas, this day is for you.

Education and Information

On Today’s Menu…

NATIONAL BOUILLABAISSE DAY is probably easier to fix than it is to say or even spell.  What is with the French and vowels?  This seafood stew is traditionally made with bony rockfish, saffron, fennel seed and orange zest.  There is a debate about which wine is best, red or white – but if you go all the way to France – which is where this dish comes from – I am sure you will be able to try both and judge for yourself.

ROAST CHESTNUTS DAY wants us to participate in a holiday tradition.  This brings out the sweetness of the nut and emits a delightful aroma to fill your home with.

Dearest Heavenly Father, please watch over our children.  Place a hedge of protection when they are at school and may these needless and heinous shootings at our schools be done with. I ask this in your name, Jesus, Amen.
