A Tip of the Hat Goes to…

NATIONAL CAREER COACH DAY is brought to us by Career Benders. These inspirational and informational folks guide us on the paths we need to take to start out on a successful career. There are a lot of pitfalls and traps to avoid, but they can help us navigate the treacherous waters and find our way. Thank you for what you do.
Awareness Spotlight shines on…

JOYGERM DAY is all about spreading the joy. In this day and age of viruses and contagions, it is good to pass on something else besides germs. Walking around with a smile on your face can brighten up the lives of those around you, as well as make them wonder what you have been up to.
Celebrate You with…

WINTER SKIN RELIEF DAY reminds us of the damage that this season can do to our skin and how to combat that. Stay hydrated as that chilled air is usually dry. Take warm showers instead of hot ones and dress in layers. Don’t be afraid to break out the lotions and maybe even a humidifier at night while sleeping. Take care of your skin and it will take care of you.
Today’s Fashion Trends

NATIONAL ARGYLE DAY wants to deck us out in those stylish patterns that came over from Scotland. Break out the argyle socks, pants, sweaters, or whatever you may have and sport the look that never goes out of style.
For Fun
WORLD TYPING DAY clicks away as we recognize the skill that most of us use on a daily basis. I never would have dreamed that what I learned in my 7th grade typing class would come in so handy. Thank you to the typing teachers all over the world and to the people who came out with word processors.

NATIONAL BUBBLE BATH DAY brings a soothing, relaxing feeling that we all can use. Make sure and soak in warm water, use the fragrant bath bombs and dry off completely afterwards to take care of your skin. Locking the bathroom door and turning off your phone can help with the relaxation as well.
On Today’s Menu…

Our dessert of the day is tooth cracking but tasty. ENGLISH TOFFEE DAY caramelizes brown sugar while adding butter and sometimes flour. Let it get to the temperature right before hard crack stage, add nuts if you like and then let it cool. Break it into pieces and you have one delicious snack.
