A Tip of the Hat Goes to…

Today we thank all of the people on the front line with NATIONAL RECEPTIONISTS’ DAY. They are the first impression of your business, usually direct all of the communications and keep the office organized. A nice lunch may be in order. Thank you for all that you do.

Now, we give a big shout out to everyone working while we sleep on NATIONAL THIRD SHIFT WORKERS DAY. Sometimes the work schedule demands more hours to get the job done. Sometimes, it works out better for the schedule at home. Sometimes, those are the hours the employee wants to work. The business keeps rolling, the lights stay on, and we get to rest because of these dedicated individuals. Thank you, ladies, and gentlemen, for working when you do.
Celebrate You with…
NATIONAL DECENCY DAY reminds us that since we are all in this together, we might as well treat each other with kindness, respect, and compassion. It is not always easy, but some things are worth the effort.
On Today’s Menu…

NATIONAL BUTTERMILK BISCUIT DAY has us reaching for the sausage gravy. Biscuits for breakfast are a natural with butter, jelly, or honey. Mom used to plop the raw biscuits into a frying pan of oil, take them out and shake them up in a brown bag of powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar for some homemade doughnuts. You can also use this tasty bread for pizza crusts, as a sandwich or served with just about any meal.
