Kev’s Daily Take On 05/28/2025

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16

Today is all about the beef with NATIONAL BEEF BURGER DAYNATIONAL BRISKET DAY and NATIONAL HAMBURGER DAY.  Hamburgers are perfect for the grill.  I like to throw in some Worcestershire Sauce, bread crumbs, garlic, onion soup mix, pepper, some milk, and an egg.  Mix it all up, mash out them patties and cook until they are just the way you like them.  The brisket on the other hand gets seasoned and then seared for about a minute.  Then put that sucker under low heat and cook it all day.  It’s a process, but well worth the wait.
