I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
For Fun

U.S. BOWLING LEAGUE DAY rolls right down the middle as we celebrate spares, strikes and turkeys. Three strikes will get you a turkey and a whole lotta points. Back in the 1800s, it would have gotten you a real turkey, which was a huge deal, seeing as how the bowling clubs made this offer around Thanksgiving.
On Today’s Menu…

WELSH RAREBIT DAY comes to us from across the pond. This cheesy toast was originally called rabbit – someone’s idea of humor – and soon came to be known as Welsh Rarebit. Melted cheese over toast makes the rabbit. It is supposed to go pretty good with ale. Add a poached egg and you have a golden buck. Add some bacon and it turns into a Yorkshire buck. Seems like a good day to try one.
