Education and Information
Unfortunately, I think I already blew NATIONAL GRAIN-FREE DAY with my bowl of heart healthy Cheerios, but it may not be too late for some of you. This day brings awareness to the people who are allergic to wheat, rice and corn and cannot partake of those cooked and baked goods. There are substitutes available and you can plan a dinner for them that is more than just celery and carrots.
On Today’s Menu…
Our dessert of the day will have you licking your fingers. NATIONAL STICKY BUN DAY brings the sweet and sticky to the table in a delicious sort of way. First, line your pan with syrup, honey, nuts, sugar and butter and then put the dough on top that has been flavored with brown sugar and cinnamon. Bake and then turn the pan upside down so the sticky part is now on top. Enjoy and finger licking is allowed and encouraged.
