I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Religious Holidays

Holy Wednesday or SPY WEDNESDAY observes the traitorous scheme of Judas Iscariot to betray Christ. “Then one of the twelve – the one called Judas Iscariot – went to the chief priest and asked, ‘What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?’ So, they counted out thirty pieces of silver. From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.” Matthew 26:14-16. While the crowds loved Jesus, the leading religious folks did not and were always looking for a way to trip him up or even outright kill him. When Judas made his offer, they jumped at the chance.

A Tip of the Hat Goes to…

INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL SCIENCE LIAISON DAY is more than just a mouthful. It gives a shout out to those individuals with the medical expertise to advise their fellow colleagues on the scientific aspects of their business. They make sure that the drugs and processes work effectively, and we thank you for what you do.
Our Fishy Friends

MANATEE APPRECIATION DAY shows some love for these gentle giants. Weighing up to 1,300 lbs., their diet consist of mostly seagrass. They have no natural enemies – except humans. Between the poaching and the polluted habitats, they are on the endangered species list. We put them on that list, we can take them off. Let’s do better about keeping their environment clean.
For Fun

This iconic toy started off as a toolbox. Antonio Pasin was a carpenter who would pull his tools around in a cart. People loved the cart so much he started making and selling them. His company grew, changed names a few times and became Radio Flyer. LITTLE RED WAGON DAY salutes the toy that lasts so long it can get passed down from generation to generation, has an endless list of purposes and has fueled many an imagination.

NATIONAL SCRIBBLE DAY is here to show us that anyone can be an artist. Created as a way to encourage children to show their artistic side, I would say this is open for anyone who just wants to scribble.
Belly up to the Bar

INTERNATIONAL WHISKEY DAY calls for a round. Celebrated on the birthday of Michael James Jackson, a prolific writer on the subject, pour a glass of your favorite “water of life”. Here’s to your health.
On Today’s Menu…

NATIONAL SPANISH PAELLA DAY comes all the way from…yep, you guessed it, Spain. This consists of a dish of rice that has been roasted over a fire with saffron and olive oil added to it, as well as just about anything else you want to put in it. There are no limits to how you can prepare this national dish of Spain, but you have to start with the rice.
