Awareness Spotlight shines on…

WORLD MUTLTIPLE SCLEROSIS DAY is brought to us by the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation. Research, education, and funding are needed to find a cure for this disease that attacks the central nervous system. There are treatments to help slow the progress and alleviate the symptoms, but let’s keep working to end this once and for all. Wear orange today to show support.
For Fun

“There’s a hole in my bucket dear Liza, dear Liza…” and today is HOLE IN MY BUCKET DAY. We can celebrate the song and we can find other purposes for those holy buckets that wont hold water. Make a planter out of them, turn it into a seat for gardening or even fill it with concrete to make a patio umbrella stand. After all of the advice that Henry gets from Liza on how to deal with his bucket, he ends up getting another one filled with water to fix the first one.

Lectric Bikes sponsors NATIONAL E-BIKE DAY and wants us to get out there and ride. Electric bikes have started gaining popularity but have actually been around since 1895 when Ogden Bolton Jr. invented a battery powered electric bike. These modes of transportation are great for getting to work, running errands, or just having fun. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy ours and they really help you get up the hills.
Belly up to the Bar

The Kentucky Derby may be over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy MINT JULEP DAY. Mix some bourbon, sugar, water, and mint leaf for a nice refreshing drink.
