I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Awareness Spotlight Shines On…

STAND UP TO CANCER DAY brings us all together to face a common enemy. I can’t think of too many people I know who haven’t been affected by this scourge one way or another. We can stand up to it by donating time and treasure. We can encourage patients who are suffering to keep fighting and if you have been diagnosed – stay strong and don’t give up. You are stronger than cancer.
A Tip of the Hat Goes to…

We give a tip of the hat and a big hug to PEDIATRIC HEMATOLOGY/ ONCOLOGY NURSES DAY. Talk about a job with impact. Taking care of the little ones with blood and cancer issues requires a lot of skill, commitment and heart. Thank you for doing what you do.

Next, we give a big thanks to all of the people who take their mutts and mongrels for a stroll on NATIONAL DOG WALKER APPRECIATION DAY. Whether you get paid or not, walk your dog, or other people’s, your furry friend(s) appreciate you and so do we.
Family and Friends

To all of you grandmas, grandpas, maw-maws, grampys, and nana’s, we wish you a HAPPY GRANDPARENTS DAY!

Thinking of all of those loved ones who have crossed over that rainbow bridge on NATIONAL PET MEMORIAL DAY.
Our Reptilian Friends

While we are on the subject of pets, NATIONAL IGUANA AWARENESS DAY encourages us to learn how to take care of our pet iguanas. Now, I do not have one, nor do I know how to care for them, but if you do – enjoy your lizard.
For Fun

Get your pens and pencils ready for a little doodling on AMPERSAND DAY. Chaz DeSimone founded this day in 2015 as he loves to dress up this symbol. Check his drawings out on Amperart.com.
