MEDICAL ASSISTANTS’ RECOGNITION DAY celebrates the men and women who assist the medical staff through clinical and administrative duties. They definitely keep things running like a Swiss Clock. Thank you for doing what you do.

NATIONAL PARALEGAL DAY thanks the myriad of workers who work behind the scenes at the law offices and courts. These people take care of the mountains of paperwork, conduct valuable research and will probably get you a cup of coffee if you ask nicely. Thank you for what you do.

T.V. TALK SHOW HOST DAY just happens to fall on the birthday of Johnny Carson. Today, we give these guys and gals with the gift of gab a round of applause for keeping us entertained.
Awareness Spotlight shines on…

LUNG HEALTH DAY wants us to appreciate and protect our lungs. We take breathing for granted – until we can’t. Between asthma, air pollution and sickness, there are plenty of enemies that want to attack our lungs. Stop smoking, breathe in fresh air and give those lungs some exercise.
Education and Information

NATIONAL MOLE DAY is all about chemistry and not the little animal that tears up your yard. Italian scientist Amedeo Avogadro figured there is a constant number of particles in one mole of a substance – exactly 6.02 x10^23 to be exact. So, at 6:02 on 10/23, thank Amedeo for coming up with that.
Today’s Fashion Trends

NATIONAL CROC DAY wants to make your feet happy. A lot of people swear by these comfy shoes, and you can get them in almost any color you want.
