For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
A Tip of the Hat Goes to…

We give a tip of the hat to NATIONAL NEONATAL NURSES DAY. These amazing men and women take care of the youngest of the young. Thank you for your caring and commitment.

Next, we give a tip of our thinking caps to WORLD ENGINEERS DAY. Where would we be without these folks tackling the problems and providing solutions we need in life.

Van Gogh stated, “A picture without a frame is like a body without a soul”. NATIONAL CUSTOM FRAMING DAY personifies that statement and recognizes the people who enhance our lovely works of art and photographs.
Awareness Spotlight shines on…

TACKLE KIDS CANCER DAY is our awareness spotlight of the day. Volunteers, research, donations and caring are what’s needed to help our children against this disease.

NATIONAL D.A.R.E. DAY has one goal – keep kids away from drugs. Drug Abuse Resistance Education is a solid program that needs to be taught in all of the schools.
Celebrate You with…

INTERNATIONAL DOT DAY started with a story by Peter H. Reynolds about a little girl named Vashti. She was supposed to draw a picture for class but felt she couldn’t. Her teacher told her to just make a mark and start there – so she drew a dot. The teacher hung Vashti’s dot on the wall along with the other kids’ drawings. Vashti was so proud of her dot that she started drawing more and more. If something seems overwhelming – start with a small solution and grow from there – you got this.
Education and Information

ONLINE LEARNING DAY literally puts education at your fingertips. What are you waiting for? Take that class you always wanted to or go for that degree you’ve been putting off.
Today’s Fashion Trends

NATIONAL FELT HAT DAY has us reaching for that fedora, Stetson or turban as summer gives way to fall and the cooler temps.

WORLD AFRO DAY celebrates the African American heritage and shouts out – Be proud of who you are!
On Today’s Menu…

Welcome to Kev’s Diner – I hope you are hungry. For our main course we can choose from CHEESE TOAST DAY, NATIONAL LINGUINE DAY, or DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER DAY. I think I will opt for the cheeseburger with mustard, onions and pickles. For our dessert of the day, BUTTERSCOTCH CINAMMON PIE DAY will take care of that sweet tooth. And, for that evening topper, CRÈME DE MENTHE DAY will provide a nice, cool, minty, after dinner drink that is sure to relax you after a long day.
